When Blake and Laney—two cautious coworkers with undeniable chemistry—are sent to Hawaii to evaluate a half-billion-dollar hotel deal, one unexpected kiss turns their business trip into a week neither of them is prepared for. Determined to protect their careers and their hearts, they agree to treat the entire trip as a single, slow, intentional first date.
But Hawaii has its own plans. As island magic, meddling elders, and rising feelings push them closer, Blake and Laney must decide whether this fragile spark can survive the return to the mainland . . . or if one perfect week is all they’ll ever have.

About the Author
R.S. Ledwith grew up in Northern California, spending his summers on the beaches of California and later Hawaii, places that would eventually inspire the settings and emotional landscapes of his fiction. His love of writing began early, from co-authoring a fifth-grade screenplay to contributing to satirical newsletters and editing a graduate school newspaper. That passion has carried through every stage of his life. After retiring from a finance career in New York City, he turned to writing full-time. He and his wife now live in a small home by the sea in Connecticut, sharing it with a dog, a tortoise, and an ever-growing menagerie of animals. He continues developing a series of emotionally rich, coastal-inspired romances.
