About the Author

About the author: Jill Roman Lord won her first writing contest in first grade, and she's been writing ever since. Her titles include If Jesus Lived Inside My Heart, If Jesus Walked Beside Me, and One Night in Bethlehem. Jill works as a nurse anesthetist and lives in North Carolina with her husband and three children, and their golden retriever.

About the illustrator: Michelle Henninger discovered her artistic talents at a very early age and put these to use with clients such as the SCBWI Bulletin, New Moon Girls magazine, and Stories for Children magazine. She lives in Colorado with her husband and two children, and a dog named Lucy.
