My First Encounter with an Angel: Revelations of Ancient Wisdom

My First Encounter with an Angel is the first book of the Revelations of Ancient Wisdom - AWAN Speaks series that will illuminate truths about how spirituality, mediumship, and prophecy have been hidden for centuries by Biblical translators and religious rulers. AWAN, the Angel Without A Name contacted the author, Sidney Schwartz, through the person of Carl Hewitt, a well-known trance medium. Who or what the AWAN is does not ultimately matter when you read and examine the incredible information that this entity is attempting to teach.

During their first encounter, AWAN revealed to the author information about deliberate changes and alterations made in the Bible throughout the centuries based on the need of Church Fathers to suppress the psychic/spiritual development of the masses. The author however, remained theologically adamant and argued with this angel. It was then that AWAN challenged the author to disprove his teachings. Using his skills as a librarian, the author researched extensively, studying over 160 versions of the Bible, only to discover that the AWAN was teaching the truth! Upon reading this book, you will begin to see that the Bible is saturated with metaphysical or mediumistic phenomena of every kind.

Sidney Schwartz has studied mediumship for 37 years. He was a student of Rev. Carl R. Hewitt and served as Assistant Pastor of Gifts of the Spirit Church for many years. In 1984 he produced "The Golden Thread, "a 10-hour documentary discussing psychic phenomena and mediumship in the Bible. Beginning in 2002, he was a regular contributor and guest on a cable-access TV show "Making Known the Unknown." On Oct. 28, 1979, he was certified as a healer and was ordained as a minister on Feb. 25, 2001, through the Gifts of the Spirit Church. Rev. Schwartz became the Pastor of Gifts of the Spirit Church in 2005 after Rev. Hewitt transitioned into the Spirit World. Mr. Schwartz's interest in mediumship began in 1975 when his closest college friend introduced him to Rev. Hewitt, a clairvoyant medium. During his first reading, Rev. Hewitt had knowledge of his future and his past and provided specific details that no one else knew. In 2006, Rev. Schwartz began his own mediumistic development by attending classes at the Arthur Findlay College (of Mediumship) in Stansted, England, where he took numerous classes in trance and platform mediumship. He continued his studies with several mediums in New York metropolitan area. Mr. Schwartz now resides in New Jersey. He is a retired Middle School teacher and librarian and is currently the Pastor of Gifts of the Spirit Church. He has also authored "My First Encounter with an Angel," "My Second Encounter with an Angel," "My Third Encounter with an Angel," and "Crossovers: The Origins of Homosexuality Revealed" with Rev. Carl Hewitt. He has also written, "The Bible as Psychic History."
