Pub by Franklin Watts, NY, 1944, NAP, presumed 1st Edition. NOT exLib. Near-Fine cond. hardcover w/ VG-minus unclipped pict dustjacket (very scarce in any cond.) now in archival grade Brodart. Red & white pict bds w/ matching dustjacket. P/O's name & place on ffep, o/w book is clean & unmarked throughout. Approx 1/2" chip out of head & tail of dj, & approx 2" dia. chip out of rear upper edge of dj. Extensively illus in color & b&w by Jeanne Bendick.
