Pp. 239; 500+ color photos of artifacts, excavation sites, plan-views, maps. Publisher's original stiff color pictorial wrappers, lg 4to. This volume celebrates a special exhibition in commemoration of the 5th anniversary of the Institute of Korean Prehistory. This work was co-published by the Institute of Korean Prehistory in Seoul and the Cheongju National Museum in Cheongju. This large volume presents a site-by-site review of the principal archaeological excavations from central Korea. There are superb color photographs of the artifacts excavated and well as photos of the sites themselves. In addition, plan-views of the sites are provided as well color maps showing the geographical location of each site in central Korea. The volume is inscribed by Yung-jo Lee, the senior editor, on the front endpaper. A bright and clean copy in fine (new) condition.
