My First Introduction to the New Testament

My First Introduction to the New Testament is for young readers of middle school age who may cherish the presentation Bibles given to them when they were younger but wonder just how to engage with biblical literature. Church school teachers may want to use it for a yearlong class because most chapters can be covered in one session. College students and even graduate students will find this book an easy way to refresh and review.

I am an artist and writer of poetry and prose. I serve church and community as Poet Laureate Emeritus of Rockport, Massachusetts where I am a member of the First Congregational Church, United Church of Christ. At about age 17, I published a brief essay about the prodigal son in the church's newsletter. Today, my books of poetry and biblical studies are in church, college, and graduate school libraries.
