Foreword by Douglas Bader and translated by Mervyn Savill. The book is a translation of Die Ersten und die Letzten, originally published in Germany in 1953. This is the first print of the Corgi edition. The front and back covers are missing. Some pages at the back missing including part of the main body at end. Foxing on some pages but pages generally good condition. This copy contains 208pp, approx 11 x 16.5cm.
