About the Author
Stephanie Cohen, M.A., CCC-SLP, CLC is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist, lactation counselor, and mother who has been working with infants and toddlers for more than 20 years. Her mission is to empower each parent to be their child’s best teacher by supporting emotional connection and early language learning. Stephanie is also a mentor, speaker, and consultant who supports students and clinicians in the field. She hosts workshops, presents to international audiences, and has been an invited speaker at Northwestern University and for the Illinois Early Intervention Training Program. Stephanie’s work is featured on www.speechpathology.com and www.occupationaltherapy.com, professional continuing education sites with international audiences. Stephanie maintains a private practice in Illinois, where she lives with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
LINDSAY DALE-SCOTT is an illustrator and designer living in Cleveland, Ohio. She has a strong passion for creating cute and beautiful work, especially for children. Her work is whimsical with a soft, sophisticated touch, drawing inspiration from nature, history, and things that are a bit quirky. She has worked on a variety of projects, including gift packaging, fabric design, and home decor, as well as illustrating children’s books. When she's not drawing, you can find her drinking coffee while spending time with her husband, two kids, and two dogs, as well as getting her hands dirty in the clay studio.
