Early printing (originally published two years prior, in 1851). Black cloth quarter-bound in black leather, with gilt spine lettering. 176 pp. plus advertising. Moderate shelfwear. The spine is a bit slanted. The spine head is bumped. The endpapers are heavily foxed, with some spots of foxing in the text. Previous owner's name and address, dated 1863, are on the front free endpaper. Otherwise unmarked and in a tight binding with hinges intact. Size: 12mo - over 6�" - 7�" tall.
