This is an early printing, 1819 in unusually remarkable condition for this children's textbook. The binding and spine are tight, no odor, no fading and minimal markings. A few tears (see photos) that do not affect the pages as a whole. Inside pages are soft and printing is crisp. No writing except former owner's name in ink on end sheet.

This book was written at a time before slavery was abolished, when Australia was still called "New Holland" and India was called "Hindustan". People in other countries are called Pagans, savages, ignorant and rude! Jesus Christ, Colonialism, God and Jews are discussed as they relate to certain countries, as well as diets in different places, clothing, other religions and often a brief history of the country.

The book cover is a more of a light brown than what appears in the photos, I just use good lighting!
