The First Light: A Shinto Creation Tale

The First Light – A Shinto Creation Tale by Psalm Carnoustie

In a time before time, when the universe was still a vast and silent void, a magical Cosmic Egg floated in the darkness, holding the secrets of creation. From this egg burst forth The First Light, dazzling and full of boundless energy, setting the stage for an epic story of gods, nature, and the birth of our world.

Along the way, meet a mischievous storm god, a radiant sun goddess, and a thoughtful moon god—all adding their unique flair to the universe. With humor, heart, and a sprinkle of stardust, this tale introduces young readers to the rich world of Shinto mythology.

Perfect for children aged 5 to 10, The First Light – A Shinto Creation Tale blends ancient legends with playful storytelling, inviting young readers on a magical adventure where every tree, river, and gust of wind holds a story.
