The First Men in the World (World Landmark #1)

This VG quality World Landmark book was published by Random House in 1953; it has no mention of a printing history. The book is square, very clean, with lightly bumped lower corners but no edge dings. The spine ends are very lightly bumped with no fabric damage; the spine is very lightly soiled/toned; the bottom edges have little wear; the hinges are strong and tight. Except for an inked name/address on the front paste down, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any type and paper damage of any sort. The paper is slightly toned but is very flexible. The VG- jacket has no fading but there are small chips at the front corners, a bit of wear on the front fold, and tiny chips and folds at the head and heel of the spine. The book has no book list and the jacket lists to World Landmark #10 (#1-#10 were all published in 1953).
