A separately printed copy of this act not abstracted from the collected Statues of 1796. Gideon Tiffany, succeeded Louis Roy, the first printer of Upper Canada, in November, 1794. This act amends 36 George 3. chapter 12, regarding the regulation of liquor licenses, and introduces a fine of 20 pounds for violation of the laws, and changes the procedure for applications for licenses from annually to quarterly.
