Item description from seller

12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. The only recorded surviving copy. Good copy in the original black leather stamped in gilt and blind (boards warped, some soiling and wear to text with one pencil correction. Printed 'Passwords' (a cypher key) for 1908 glued to front pastedown. This venerable friendly society, similar to the Freemasons, gradually transitioned into an insurance company, now known as Shepherds Friendly Society (still in business).
