5" x 7-1/2", xix + 790pp. Printed on alkaline wood pulp paper and bound in signatures in heavy brown cloth boards with dark brown buckram backing with blind debossed Greek key band design and title block stamped in gilt. Corners are bumped, bottom fore corners heavily. Otherwise, moderate edge wear, shelf wear / soiling to boards. Marbled edge tinting all around, now visibly age toned / faded. Gutter of front end papers is cracked, but binding remains square and tight. Previous owner's name in light pencil on front free end paper, and back end papers as well as two preceeding blank pages are back are covered in light pencil notes. Pages are otherwise age spotted in a few places but unmarked and generally clean and bright. A well preserved copy.
