London: George Allen & Unwin LTD, 1941. First published in English in 1939; this is a Near Fine copy of the Second Impression of the First Edition. Translation from the Czech by M. & R. Weatherall. Brick red cloth binding with black lettering. Clean text; 277 pages with two pages of publisher's adverts in the rear. The striking dustwrapper is Very Good, although clipped. It would get a "plus" for the brightness of the colours (a bit darker on the spine), but a "minus" for a small chip to the top of the front cover. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall. Second Printing. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good Plus. 12mo - over 6�" - 7�" tall.

We accept checks and money orders in US Dollars. Credit card orders are accepted through ABE. California residents must add appropriate sales tax (currently 7.25%). Items are returnable for any reason within ten days of receipt (please email or call first before returning item).
