The First Resurrection: The Historic Hope of the Church

The Resurrection of the Christian is a critical doctrine that has sustained the hope of the Church for more than 2000 years. According to the Apostle Paul the preaching of the resurrection of believers is done, in part, to comfort weary Christians as they pilgrim through this present wicked world. This is why he instructed the Thessalonian church to “ … encourage one another with these words” about the Resurrection (1 Thessalonians 4:18).

In the last 150 years or so, however, there has been much confusion in evangelical circles surrounding this event. The First Resurrection helps to navigate the reader through these differing views. It does this by a close examination of the Scriptures, and a careful study of the historical record. You might be surprised with what you learn which, the author’s pray, will launch you into further study of this fascinating theological topic.

This book takes the reader on a prophetic ride that will excite and engage!
