First Sight: 1 (Chance Encounters)

"I think I was put on this earth to find you..."

First Sight

Callie Richards always has a plan. At least she did, until the first impulse decision she ever made left her fleeing across state lines and away from a volatile relationship. Now, finding herself in an even more dangerous situation deep in the Blue Ridge Mountains, she’s suddenly aware of how unsafe it is to be a woman in this world. With no way to defend herself, Callie is forced to run for her life.

Nathan Wolfe is an Ex-Special Forces Operator, seeking clarity in the mountains after years of experiencing the darkest depths of reality. Always living his life for other people, he’s lost himself entirely. When a soul-seeking hunting trip turns into a rescue mission, Nathan makes a split-second decision that will alter his plan for peaceful isolation.

When a chance encounter leaves her second-guessing every decision she’s ever made, Callie has to take a risk and put her trust in a stranger if she plans to make it through the day alive. As the threat grows even more complicated than either of them could imagine, Nathan is determined to keep her safe. Especially when the flames burning between them are more out of control than the forces acting against them.

If fate brought her to him, then he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her alive, even if it means fighting the ghosts of his past and thawing his frozen heart in the process.
