When the first snow falls, even a backyard can become a world of adventure.
The First Snow is a tender picture book for young children that captures the magic of a snowy day through the eyes of Agnes and Stefan. As fresh snow transforms their garden, imagination takes over and familiar spaces become something new. With soft, poetic language and enchanting illustrations, this story invites children to join the siblings as they explore a winter landscape filled with wonder, play, and quiet joy.
Perfect for cozy read-aloud moments, The First Snow celebrates the beauty of childhood imagination and the simple pleasures of seasonal change. Ideal for families, caregivers, and educators, this timeless winter story encourages creativity, togetherness, and a sense of adventure. A lovely addition to any child’s library, it is especially well suited for sharing on chilly days when snow and stories go hand in hand.
