Artist and illustrator James Warhola has been painting for more than 20 years. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in design from Carnegie Mellon University and then studied at the Art Students' League of New York. In addition to designing more than 300 science fiction and fantasy book covers, Warhola has illustrated a number of children's books, including Uncle Andy's, a picture book based on his famous uncle, Andy Warhol. Uncle Andy's, which Warhola also wrote, was the recipient of an IRA Children's Book Award. Warhola lives in Tivoli, New York, with his family.
