Two-volume set bound in brown cloth with extensive gilt decoration. Fore-edge gilt. Inscribed in beautiful 19th-century script to previous owner, 1852, on both FEPs. No other markings. Pages yellowed and foxed. Main condition problem is damage to head of spine on both volumes, with some losses. Otherwise very good condition.
