PO inscription on ffep by a 1st Lieutenant of the Union Army Colored Infantry, Ft. Pickens, FL 1865. Greenish black embossed boards with gilt device on front and gilt titles on spine. Corners and spine ends bumped/rubbed. Small stamp of a PO name on bottom page edges. Two title pages: one with date of 1862, on with 1864. Portrait of Jefferson Davis detached but laid in. Page 27 has a closed tear to vertical edge. Pages are clean with scattered light occasional foxing. Folding map and portraits.
