I have personally read a lot about teaching and education and have learned that many books offer generic advice (“Organize your room efficiently”) but don’t offer specifics on how to follow their advice. I have created a list of ten mistakes to avoid, but have not just left you hanging…I give advice on what you should do instead! I share about strategies I have used, activities I have implemented, and attitudes I have taken on that I wish someone had told me before I started teaching.
