Life changing in a good way. I’d even go so far as saying that I thought it would be the making of me as a woman. Or at least be the ‘adaptation’ of me, in the best possible way.”
Come along and join Esi on her journey battling sickle cell anemia and then going on to develop a life-debilitating complication, avascular necrosis, post-pregnancy with a child with complex abnormalities. This young lady is a true warrior and even turns tragedy to triumph as she proudly reveals her very own homemade remedy, which she swears by, to help alleviate the pain and stress brought on by her condition. Well worth the read, a conversation starter around sickle cell anemia and the serious complications it does and can bring.
