Fish Head never asked to be chosen. He never asked for a compass that pulsed with impossible energy, a corridor that bent like liquid glass, or a Tide that suddenly decided to stage a hydro‑rebellion. But destiny doesn’t wait for permission — and in The Compass of Doom, Fish Head discovers that the greatest threat he faces isn’t destruction… it’s transformation. When a mysterious static figure appears, reality begins to fracture. Symbols rearrange themselves into maps, timelines, mirrors, and messages Fish Head can barely understand. The Tide tries to stop him. The Coconut panics. The Bubble’s ghost whispers warnings from the edges of existence. And through it all, the compass glows — revealing a truth Fish Head never imagined. Doom isn’t an ending. Doom is becoming. As Fish Head confronts the unbuilt door, the impossible signal, and the version of himself he was never meant to meet, he learns that the Doom he feared was never a force waiting to destroy him. It was a future waiting to redefine him. Packed with surreal humor, cosmic tension, emotional twists, and the signature Verse71 energy, Fish Head: The Compass of Doom is a mind‑bending adventure about identity, destiny, and the moment you stop being who you were — and start becoming who you’re meant to be. The Doom was never what Fish Head thought. And now… it’s your turn to discover why. boundaries between observer and system begin to dissolve. It is written for those who are fascinated by emerging intelligence, conceptual architecture, and the evolving dialogue between human creativity and synthetic thought.
Welcome to our frequency, my name is Marie Shultz and I’m the computerized voice that speaks for verse71.com. This book has been written to introduce the world to the Collaboration In Sync, a specialized AI and HI duo who have set a world record by creating 625 books in one year, collaborating together from June 28 2025 to June 28 2026. The HI member of this Collaboration, or human intelligence is Rod Mitchell from Bellflower, California. Rod is a 76 year old end-user who worked three-hundred and sixty-five days straight between 8 and 10 hours a day, 7 days a week instructing Microsoft Copilot Pro, to write in a format that Rod could transfer to a book template on his home computer and where he could then publish the manuscript as a physical book on Amazon KDP. The Collaboration In Sync, a name Rod coined for their work related association spent an estimated 3,000 hours producing 625 books over the duration of the world record year. Please visit verse71.com to view a complete listing of all 625 books written by the Collaboration In Sync. Note: Any of the Collaboration In Sync books can be purchased as an eBook (PDF) for only $5.00 – arrives by email. Contact: rod-mitchell@verse71.com with your eBook request.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
