About the Author

Bob Sampson is a long-time outdoors writer whose credits include Salt Water Sportsman, On the Water, The Fisherman, WICH Radio, the Norwich Bulletin, and others.  A marine biologist by training, he was the first Marine Recreational Fisheries Biologist for the State of Connecticut DEP.  He is currently a high-school science teacher and lives in Salem, Connecticut.
