A Fistful of Salt (Paperback)

Paperback. ***** WINNER OF THE IndieBRAG MEDALLION 2018. ***** A reclusive taxi-driver must fight for the love of his childhood sweetheart when she gets into trouble with a bunch of killers.Being nursed back from a coma in the sunny south of France by childhood crush, Shelley, is a fantasy come true for Thomas Brody; if only he could remember how he got there and why the local criminal fraternity are out to murder them both. On the upside, Shelley, a wild redhead who has always treated him like dirt, is being sweeter than he ever dared to dream and as they cast aside the baggage of their suffocating small town lives they discover an eccentric intimacy has developed between them over the years. As Brody's memory returns, so too do the ghosts of their pasts and it seems everyone converging on their brief idyll has their own bitter vengeance to enact. If they were ever destined to share a future then the time has definitely come for them to stand together or be washed away by an evil tide.
