About the Author: People want to know a little something about the author, so here goes. My husband, David (the best thing besides Jesus to ever happen to me), our youngest daughter, Jessica, and I reside in a small rural community east of Dallas. We have chickens (yes we eat the eggs) and a couple of Chihuahuas (moved with us from the city). We also have four adult children who are married to wonderful spouses and have brought our amazing grandchildren into this world. We are deeply rooted in our home church located in the inner city of Dallas where we serve on the pastoral leadership team. David and I also serve as directors for Overcomers Recovery Support, a Christ centered 12-step program with over thirty years of proven results. We have traveled to many nations through the years, training church leaders and strengthening and encouraging women. My heart for most of my adult life has been to see women's eyes and hearts opened to God's great love for them and to awaken them to the reality of their value to God and their culture.
