About the Author

Don Russell has also edited Captain Charles King's Campaigning with Crook (Norman, 1964). The author of The Lives and Legends of Buffalo Bill (Norman, 1960), he was also editor of The Westerners Brand Book and an associate editor of the New Standard Encyclopedia.
