Five generations

The book will guide you on a journey of discovery through five generations of Italians.
There is the generation that left for a new world; the generation that defended the territory from foreign armies; the generation that helped building the Italian Republic, defending it from the mafia; the generation that opened up to the international community; and finally, the latest generation, who created a new (interconnected and virtual) world.
Each generation is described starting from a photo, found by chance in a drawer or on the internet, then indicating the common characteristics of the generation, also making a representative of that generation speaking directly, then focusing on a particular environment and some stories related to that environment that touched the life of the narrated character.
