Synopsis

La pr�sente �tude a eu pour but d’�valuer la capacit� d’adsorption d’un mat�riau naturel(la sciure de bois finement divis�e) pour �liminer le Victoria bleu basique (colorant textile). Les r�sultats obtenus ont �t� compar�s avec ceux obtenus avec l’adsorbant universel, le charbon actif en poudre. Diff�rents param�tres influen�ant la capacit� d’adsorption de ce colorant tels que le pH, la masse de l’adsorbant, le temps de contact, et la temp�rature ont �t� d�termin�s. Les �quilibres, la cin�tique et la thermodynamique de l’adsorption ont �t� �tudi�s. La r�action de surface est de pseudo-second ordre, avec r2 = 0,9999. Le mod�le th�orique de Langmuir exprime correctement les �quilibres de l’adsorption avec r2 = 0,9998. Les param�tres thermodynamiques de la r�action d’adsorption ont �t� d�termin�s et indiquent une chimisorption (ΔH� =109,682 Kj.mole-1).
