Good, and the reason is one specific piece of damage rather than general tiredness: THE BACK COVER IS TORN. It also shows heavy creasing, scuffing and surface peeling. This was checked in hand by the seller, who confirms that all pages are readable and in good order despite it. Everything else is far better than the back cover suggests. The front cover has only minor wear and carries a small round green-blue sticker at the upper right, which is the seller's own dot placed over a price sticker and is not a library marking. The spine shows wear at the top corner. The interior pages appear white, clean and intact, with no highlighting and no writing seen in any photograph. No card pockets, date-due slips, library stamps or spine call-number labels appear anywhere. The copyright page was not photographed, so the printing year is not stated here rather than guessed. Pages not clearly pictured cannot be certified free of marks.

Store description
For 15 years I've been an Oregon CPA, and for 10 of those I taught tax and accounting at the college level. But my proudest work has nothing to do with numbers: I homeschooled my daughter from preschool through freshman year and in September she will be starting the 10th grade - homeschooling. This season taught me a good book can shape how a child sees the world. Every title I choose has to engage young minds to think critically and navigate this world with real understanding. Every book has a story — but it only means something when a child lives it. Why Papa Duck? I was "Uncle Duck" to my nieces and nephews for years — duck pictures fill my office, Mallards are my favorite. When my grandson arrived last year, the family asked what he'd call me. There was only one answer. CPA by training, teacher by calling, homeschool dad by experience, Papa Duck by love.…
