After narrowly escaping the clutches of Althaea’s servants, Elyrah and Kaesen are running against time to get to Du’ath Ium.

Elyrah is battling with multiple revelations; Kaesen has been lying to her, manipulating her. And just when she thought he was done being illusive, dark truths about their past are brought to light, causing Elyrah to question everything yet again. Rationality begs her to run. But no matter how much she knows she should, there is something that has bound itself between them, and by choice or otherwise she cannot leave him.

Corrin has joined Rosalind as a servant of Althaea, and together they hunt Elyrah and Kaesen across Tai’nna. But as they close in on their prey, forbidden truths threaten to upheave their beliefs and shatter their resolve.

Courtney's love for fantasy was born at the early age of 7 when The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time came out on Nintendo 64. She found herself so enthralled with the game, playing it through multiple times, that she spent ages 11 to 16 writing a fanfiction novel. During this time, she discovered the amazing Raymond E Feist and his many books (Magician to this day being her favourite book). When she wasn't writing, she was reading or drawing, most of her time spent in a world of imagination.In 2014, Courtney moved to Stockholm, Sweden. Here she was introduced to Dungeons & Dragons and had the amazing opportunity to work in a medieval restaurant.
