Very Good. The covers show some general wear and slight soiling but no creasing, tearing or bumping of note, and the binding is intact and square. A bookshop USED price sticker is affixed to the back cover. Interior pages carry the light tanning you would expect of a paperback of this age and are otherwise clean, with no highlighting, underlining, marginalia or ownership inscription noted. There are no library stamps, card pockets, date-due slips, spine labels, barcodes or discard marks anywhere on the book. For a four-hundred-page paperback that has been read, it has held together unusually well.

Store description
For 15 years I've been an Oregon CPA, and for 10 of those I taught tax and accounting at the college level. But my proudest work has nothing to do with numbers: I homeschooled my daughter from preschool through freshman year and in September she will be starting the 10th grade - homeschooling. This season taught me a good book can shape how a child sees the world. Every title I choose has to engage young minds to think critically and navigate this world with real understanding. Every book has a story — but it only means something when a child lives it. Why Papa Duck? I was "Uncle Duck" to my nieces and nephews for years — duck pictures fill my office, Mallards are my favorite. When my grandson arrived last year, the family asked what he'd call me. There was only one answer. CPA by training, teacher by calling, homeschool dad by experience, Papa Duck by love.…
