It's a tale of saving a river, survival, and the continuing friendship between two river otters,
Flash and Fancy. 
In Book Two, the adventures of Flash and Fancy continue to unfold on
Sandy Island, South Carolina and then progress into the Waccamaw River.
The otters discover something ominous that threatens the animals and plant life that
depend on the river for survival.
Flash and Fancy are surprised and thrilled by a positive event that
saves the river and them all.

*In the second adventure of the Flash and Fancy otter trilogy, the Waccamaw Riverkeeper program is introduced and is part of the Winyah Rivers Foundation. It's purpose is to teach and encourage environmental cleanups of our waterways and rivers as well as encourage conservation stewardship.
