Flesh And Matter: The Scriptures Versus Christian Science

""Flesh And Matter: The Scriptures Versus Christian Science"" is a thought-provoking book written by Sara Van Alen Murray. The book explores the fundamental differences between Christian Science and the teachings of the Bible. Christian Science is a religious movement that emphasizes the power of the mind to heal physical ailments, while the Bible teaches that physical healing comes from God.Murray's book delves into the history and beliefs of Christian Science, as well as its founder, Mary Baker Eddy. She also examines the ways in which Christian Science deviates from traditional Christian teachings and challenges readers to consider the implications of these differences.Throughout the book, Murray uses Biblical passages and Christian Science texts to illustrate her points and provide a comprehensive analysis of the differences between the two belief systems. She ultimately argues that Christian Science's reliance on the power of the mind over physical matter is a dangerous departure from the teachings of the Bible and can lead to harmful consequences for those who follow it.""Flesh And Matter: The Scriptures Versus Christian Science"" is a must-read for anyone interested in exploring the intersection of religion and science, as well as those seeking a deeper understanding of Christian Science and its beliefs. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
