One Flesh - The Winning Team: A Practical Guide to a Happy, Healthy, and Lasting Marriage

The central theme of “One Flesh: The Winning Team. A Practical Guide to a Happy, Healthy, and Lasing Marriage” is to provide a biblical response to the question posed by the psalmist David, centuries ago. He declared, “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” The foundation to all human institutions is the family. From it, all other institutions are birthed. These institutions include but are not limited to: the educational, ethnic, cultural, governmental, legal, judicial, health, financial, mass media, political, religious, and social welfare systems, just to name these. Since all human institutions are offspring of the family, Dr. William Ekane, working closely with the Word of God, draws insights and essential truths to rebuilding the family. God, the architect of the family, has provided us with a blueprint in the Scriptures useful for building healthy, happy, and thriving marriages and families. In “One Flesh…”, William walks you through some of the most challenging aspects in a marriage relationship—from choosing the love of your life to resolving problems in the relationship using the win-Win-win paradigm. Although this model may not be a panacea to resolving all conflicts, it is nevertheless a useful tool in settling majority of the disputes. “My prayer is that your marriage will be an exciting adventure and fulfill your needs” says Dr. Ekane. Dr. William Ekane has served Christ in Africa, Europe, and the United States. He has been lead pastor of New Life Fellowship Global Ministries (NLFGM) in Atlanta, Georgia, since 1999 and previously, taught as Associate Professor at Grambling State University. His time at Grambling was made fruitful by the many articles published in peer reviewed journals. He is also the author of "Seven Pillars of Christianity: An Introduction to the Essential Christian Doctrines." William and his wife, Grace, conduct marriage seminars across the US. They have seven grown children and four grandchildren.
