In drei betrieblichen Fallstudien im Einzelhandel wurden die Auswirkungen flexibler Arbeitszeit auf zeitbedingte Belastungen und Beanspruchungen in der Arbeits- und in der au�erbetrieblichen Lebenswelt erforscht. Die Untersuchung konzentrierte sich auf Belastungen und Beanspruchungen, die aus der Dauer und Lage der Arbeitszeit resultieren. Die Firmen - ein Kaufhaus, ein Textilkaufhaus und ein Selbstbedienungswarenhaus - praktizieren die im Handel g�ngigen Arbeitszeitmodelle, feste Arbeitszeit mit roulierendem Freizeitsystem und variabler Arbeitszeit. In jedem Betrieb wurden drei Untersuchungsgruppen gebildet: vollzeit-, teilzeit- und geringf�gig besch�ftigte Frauen mit ihren Partnern. Weiterhin wurde unterschieden, ob die Frauen durch die Erziehung von Kindern und die Betreuung und Pflege von Angeh�rigen au�erbetrieblich zeitlich stark oder zeitlich weniger gebunden sind.
