Review:
I just got home from the 3 hour drive to take my FP-C exam and I must say thank you to Kyle for putting together such an amazing study aid that helped me pass on the first try! If you had to get one book, this would be the one that I would recommend! His information was concise and to the point and an all-in-one for having success on the difficult FP-C exam. Thank you Kyle-a huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders! --Amazon Review
I passed both the FP-C and the CCP-C exams before I was aware of this publication. Having collected virtually all the other recommended textbooks and study guides I could get my hands on- to include those that accompanied some of the well-known live (classroom/face-to-face) as well as video review courses for the FP-C, CCP-C, CFRN, and CTRN exams- I've concluded that Flight Paramedic Certification: A Comprehensive Study Guide is worth more than many of those combined, far and away. If I were to be asked (and I am quite frequently) what ONE book I would recommend for those aspiring to pass their FP-C or CFRN exam, I would recommend Mr. Faudree's guide without reservation. I wish I'd had it before taking my Boards. I do also want to comment on a fellow (positive) reviewer s notion that the author presents the information ...in a very dumb form that Iam use to. I know this reviewer was attempting to praise Kyle s guide by suggesting that the information was this: no-frills, clear, concise, and exam-specific. Though I would still recommend a comprehensive critical care course (such as UMBC s CCEMTP and/or TNATC) as a foundation, for FP-C/CFRN exam prep purposes, this guide gets right to the point and very obviously addresses the exam blueprint specifically so you know that everything you are taking away from this guide is very focused on getting you to pass the exam, and there is no ancillary information that one ought to pick up in the aforementioned foundational courses. I also learned Kyle is going to be publishing a Tactical Paramedic study guide in the near future... though I am already a TP-C, I very much look forward to this forthcoming publication.
