Florence's First Concert: Learning the difference between feelings safe, scary fun, scary adventure and scared (Paperback or Softback)

Florence's First Concert: Learning the Difference Between Safe, Scary Fun, Scary Adventure and Scared

Book Three - Little Adventurers Series

Florence Flamingo-Flo to her friends-loves to dance, draw, and cuddle with Mum. But on the big night of her very first concert, Flo's tummy flutters, her knees wobble, and her heart races. Is she excited, a little nervous...or feeling unsafe?

With gentle storytelling and vibrant illustrations, this educational book introduces the Protective Behaviours concept of the Safety Continuum. Children learn that sometimes nervous feelings are part of "risking on purpose"-a safe, supported step into trying something new-and that noticing Early Warning Signs (EWS) helps them know when to stop, seek support, or ask for a helping hand.

Perfect for children aged 4-7, Florence's First Concert:

• Explores the Safety Continuum (safe, excited, nervous, unsafe)
• Introduces the concept of "Risking on Purpose"
• Links emotions to body clues and safe conversations
• Includes educator and family notes
• Part of the Little Adventurers Protective Behaviours series.
