Offering this unconventional 2-volume set about Florida's history: Florida Lore Not Found in the History Books! and More Florida Lore Not Found in the History Books , by Vernon Lamme. Boynton Beach, FL: Star Publishing, 1975 (4th printing) and 1979 (2nd edition). Illustrated by Vernon's son, Bob Lamme. The author - a writer, editor and amateur archaeologist - drew from his decades of columns, newspaper stories and personal memories to write these books, issued in paperback. Covers late 1890s to early 1950s. Overall condition is Good. The covers are age toned and a little soiled, the page edges have foxing. The small tear at spine end of the yellow book has been repaired. Interiors are clean and unmarked, the bindings remain secure. Fun-to-read set about "Old Florida".
