About the Author
Hirakendu Basu, is currently working as Scientific Officer F in Analytical Chemistry Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre of India. He completed his B.Sc. from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, under Calcutta University in 2005 and M.Sc. from Calcutta University in 2007. He then joined Bhabha Atomic Research Centre after completion of OCES (52nd batch). He received his M.Tech in Nuclear Science and Engineering and PhD in Chemistry from HBNI, India. His areas of research interest are environmental analytical chemistry, development of hybrid materials, polymeric nanocomposites, core-shell nanoparticles, multifunctional photothermal material, colloidal migration study, natural radioactivity, colorimetric sensors and development of indigenous standard reference material.
Tae Jung Park PhD is an Associate Professor at the Chemistry Department of Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea. His research interests are novel platform technologies for nanobio-fusion studies on metal surfaces, biosensor chips and nanocomplex fabrication for electrochemical analysis. Furthermore, he is interested in the investigation of molecular diagnostics using nanomaterials and the evaluation of biomimetics and drug delivery systems. He has received over 14 best research awards and has published over 130 papers, and owns over 80 international and Korean patents.
