The Flutterfly Effect (Fairy Scout Friends)

Meet the Fairy Scout Friends, a group of misfit fairies working together to earn their magic! Flutterfly the not-quite-fairy struggles to unlock her magical fairy dust—and remembers to believe in her dreams—in this second book in the illustrated chapter book series full of heart and fairy charm.

Don’t be fooled by the antennae and round wings. Flutterfly is a fairy through and through! But no matter how hard she tries, she can’t figure out how to use her fairy dust like all the other fairies. Even the always-cheery Flutterfly can NOT find a bright side to this magical mystery!

With easy-to-read language and illustrations on almost every page, the Fairy Scout Friends chapter books are perfect for emerging readers.

Hannah Fay lives right next door to fairies! Well, they actually live in her backyard, in the many fairy houses that she built for them. When she’s not writing books for children, Hannah loves spending time tending to her garden full of mushrooms and milkweed.

Mag Takac has illustrated over a dozen books published in Europe. When she’s not busy drawing, Mag can be found taking care of her garden, baking croissants, and playing music. She lives with her grumpy cats, noisy dogs, tiny humans, and loving husband.
