Linley Faire's special love of animals shines through in her first children's book, Fly Bird Fly. Living and hiking in the mountains near Asheville, North Carolina gives her ample opportunities to view wildlife up close. One of her biggest thrills was watching three big black bears amble down the hill and across the front yard. In late spring mornings, she wakes up to the sound of wild turkeys gobbling from their hillside nests. Linley's plans include adding a beehive and a few chickens to her one acre property in the near future.
