About this Item
London. Published by The Honey Dun Press Limited. 1974. Limited Edition. Book number 327 of 400 copies published. Octavo (8 1/2 x 6). [12], 42 pp. plus colophon. Tipped-in hand colored frontispiece showing 16 natural stream insects with titles. George Scotcher [likely aka. Mark Willett] describes in detail the flies dressed to match the insects encountered by fly fishermen and the materials required to dress them correctly. A compelling work of extreme rarity in the ca. 1809 first edition. This book is bound in green morocco spine with gilt titles and marbled boards by A. F. Sismore and is signed by him. Matching marbled two-part box with silk lifting piece, printed titling labels on the spine and on top of the box. A beautiful book. Fine in a fine box. Seller Inventory # 010256

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. My chosen shipping option is the U. S. Postal Service. USPS is the best in terms of service and cost efficiency ¿ even though recent overseas rates, effective January 2013, have skyrocketed. USPS requires mails sent overseas and Canada can ONLY be sent by AIRMAIL. Charged at actual cost. Other overseas shipping options are available, such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.; however, they are frightfully expensive.
