Your author designed Guidance and Control Systems for advanced military aircraft for two decades in the 1980’s. He was the designer of the first Fly-By-Wire Aircraft (e.g., F111) which used a Dither Self-Adaptive Control System for adjusting the Flight Control Parameters during Terrain Following Missions or High Altitude Missions. I noted the success Fly by Wire Drones were having in destroying Al-Qaeda Terrorists in Pakistan and Yemen. This book is based on your author’s knowledge of fly by wire aircraft and information obtained by sifting thru Internet information. There has been a true revolution using Fly by Wire and Dither Adaptive techniques in all new flying machines. The aircraft of today use nanotechnology computers and sensors for the software in private aircraft, military fighters, and airliners.

Jon Schiller received the BS in Physics from the California Institute of Technology and the MS and Ph.D. from the University of Southern California. As an executive of multinational corporations he was responsible for designing Avionics systems using airborne computers for advanced aircraft such as the F111 fighter (which used GPS for the first time) and the Stealth bomber.
