The flyer reproduces the cover art for The Portable Leon, a collaborative work of poetry about which Bill Berkson said, "The Leon poems were written collaboratively from 1968 through 1970 in New York and Port Jefferson, Long Island … The participants included Larry Fagin, Ron Padgett, Michael Brownstein, Bill Berkson, and possibly Anne Waldman, Joan Inglis (Fagin), Jim Carroll, and others" (Berkson, Since When). This reading likely served as a launch for the publication. Mimeograph. 11 x 8 1/2 in. Very good; minor toning, light offsetting to verso.
