Flying into Fire

Not every hero gets a fairy tale.

Shortly after the bombing of Callax Trent's village, he finds himself on the run from a Queen who will stop at nothing to extinguish a prophecy that, if fulfilled, will end her rule.

But Callax isn't on this journey alone. Accompanying him are four unlikely companions: Dakota, a hot-tempered youth, Willow, a gentle soul, Pearl, an eternal optimist, and Tempest, a loyal subject. Outside the Capitol, they discover more than empty plains; they find betrayal, love, loss, and, most of all, change.

Destiny is never simple, and capture isn't a question of failure; it's life or death.
