About the Author

Born and raised in England, Jill Bates now lives in America. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Central Florida and graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. She now works as a roaming house call veterinarian on a small rural island. She spends her time quietly, surrounded by her garden and many loving dogs, cats, geese, ducks, deer, wild birds, bats, voles and moles.
