About the Author

Susan Docherty has been knitting since she was six years old and is an established and celebrated knitwear designer. She has run an extremely successful knitwear business based in Glasgow for 18 years. A self-taught knitter, Susan prides herself on working from patterns that she creates in her head on the spur of the moment and believes that there isn’t anything she can’t knit! You name it and Susan will create it from wool.

Susan has spent more than 100,000 hours knitting and creating the world of Intarsia and all its inhabitants.

Each set is photographed in her studio in Glasgow and then digitally input into the books.
